WHY ZICO X MISBHV COLLABORATION GOT US HYPED FOR THIS JANUARY

Yesterday we all held your breath till 1 pm waiting for Cult of Ya to announce who their surprise artist for their Save the Date event was.

After only posting the artist's initial Z, and a long teasing with Zico and Zion T MVs it has been revealed that on the 5th of January, the one coming to London will be ZICO !

ZICO FROM 'TOUGH COOKIE' TO 'BERMUDA TRIANGLE'

 

Since his first official solo single 'Tough Cookie', Zico's solo career went up and up. If 2014 was the beginning when he won a KMC Award with 'Tough Cookie', 2015 was a busy time. Not only did his songs rank number 1 on charts but he also won a Korean Music Award for his collaboration with Dean for the Best R&B  & Soul Song 'Pour up'.

This year he already won 3 awards at Melon Music Awards and he is nominated for 4 more at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). We wish him good luck and hope he gets to bring home some of the awards. Just some because Crush and Dean are also nominated for some of the awards Zico is… Can't take sides! Guys, why don't you three split it as you see fit. No fights, please!

It's hard enough to pick s favourite song from Zico's singles, even harder if we count his collaborations. 'I am you, you are me' ? 'Boys and Girls'? Or maybe his collaboration with Crush, 'Oasis' or his award winning one with Dean, 'Pour up'…

Maybe "Bermuda triangle" after it gets released… which gets me to this.

 

I could not notice the timing of the new single's release. 28th November. . . Does it ring a bell? Of course it does! It is the day of the extra date for Crush's London concert. Will we be getting a surprise appearance from Zico and Dean on the 27th at the first Crush concert and the one on the 28th? Could they be dropping by for the new release? Fans can only hope and dream for the following few days as the date is getting close fast.

 

ZUTTER will be present at Crush's concert and afterparty on the 27th of November, ready to report back everything on the day!

 

 

MUSIC AND STREET FASHION

 

Rapper, producer, singer, songwriter, Zico is not endeavouring only in his solo music career. In 2015, Zico won the Fashion Icon of the Year award at HipHopPlaya Awards. As street fashion is a big part of the rap culture it comes as no surprise that his style has always been on point, but this year he has prepared us a collaboration with MISBHV !! Exclusive to his 5th of January show, a limited edition long sleeve Zico x MISBHV will be included with all  VVIP and VIP tickets.

 

WHY MISBHV GOT US EXTRA HYPED?

 

MISBHV (Misbehave) has been a personal favourite for a while. Up and coming Polish designers Natalie and Kate are on the lips of everyone in the fashion industry right now. CL's stylist, Matt Mazut, disclosed for Vogue that CL's tour opening look is a MISBHV custom!  In case you missed it, it is not the first time CL wore a MISBHV item, nor is she the only one.

2014 - G-DRAGON

MISBHV worn by G-Dragon in his Crooked MV (Of course he had to be first to notice it . . . )  

 

2015  - CL

MISBHV worn by CL when she stopped by the Japanese shop Fake Tokyo.

 

2016 - BTS'S SUGA

One that MISBHV themselves missed … Suga is wearng a MISBHV T-shirt from the New Beginnings collection (SS16) in BTS's Save Me MV. So hard to get a good still shot of these guys, always running and dancing their hearts out.

 

So if you are not a die-hard fashionista like G-Dragon, don't worry if you haven't heard about it yet, you are about to! MISBHV is just about to hit it BIG. They had their first New York Fashion Week show this year in September. And when their SS17 drops everyone will try to get their hands on the season's IT items.

 

In an interview for Idolmagazine the designers described the message behind the brand :

 

MISBHV is all about independence. Being young, while still being highly aware of yourself and the world you live in. It’s about doing as much as you can to live your dreams. MISBHV likes sexuality, strong women and powerful individuals in general.
