SKINFOOD'S BLACK SUGAR MASK & TEA TREE CLEANSING FOAM REVIEW

There are lots of  Korean cosmetic brands known world-wide: TonyMoly, Nature Republic, Skinfood and the list goes one.  Since the invention of BB creams seems that the whole cosmetics industry is keeping an eye on Korea and their prodcuts. So, we want to start filling you in on some of the products we have been using.  We will be doing posts once or twice a week on one or two products so please look forward on our future post as well!

I am a huge, huge, huge fan of SKINFOOD. It is the first cosmetic brand to root itself in food. The philosophy of the brand drives every product development to ensure that only the highest quality food ingredients are used to create a more beautiful, healthier lifestyle.

We believe that nutritive food results in nutritive beauty for healthy, beautiful skin. Our food philosophy drives our product development to ensure that only the highest quality food ingredients are used to create a more beautiful, healthier lifestyle. Our roots date back to 1957. - Skinfood

Skinfood cosmetics is like a journey around the world: Brazilian black sugar, South Asina royal black honey, French grapes, cheojeong -ri mineral water, organic tomatoes, lettuce, and cucumbers. The journey to discover the best food never ends.

I tried it for the first time when I was 16. I heard a lot about how good Korean beauty products were and how innovative and different compared to those on the western market they are. I was a bit skeptical about it ... so my first meeting with Skinfood happened when my best friend gifted it for my birthday. It was its skin masks. I was not a fan of sheet masks, so I wasn't over the moon about the present, but I did try them and I noticed that they made my skin smoother and shinier.

Some time later when I was in Seoul, I went to a Skinfood store, which I think is the best beauty retailer. There are loads of cute and cool stuff: from foot peelings to facial peelings and they all smell so delicious like you could eat them!

SUGARFOOD'S BLACK SUGAR MASK

Black sugar mask smells amazing. As the name says, it consists of brown sugar. When you dispense a few pumps on your palms, you can see and feel little sugar granules. It smells like honey and makes you wanna eat it as I said before. The dark sugar crystals to start to melt between your wet fingers while you massage it onto your face. It is an excellent makeup removal and cleansing. The mask not only has cleansing ‘effect’ but also moisturizes the skin and makes it shine, smoother and softer. It is Skinfood's bestselling product and you probably have heard of it before. Need I say more?

Buy it here 'cause you won't regret -----> YesStyle  or on Amazon.co.uk or on SokoGlam

TEA TREE CLEANSING FOAM

Tea Tree cleansing. It does not smell as yummy as black sugar mask, but it does smell refreshing. The one I am currently using is hard to find as Skinfood has remade it into a bubble cleansing foam, which is not as good as the original. It leaves skin clean and removes all the impurities from the skin. If you don't heave a really oily skin you should not leave it on for a long time as it will dry your skin really bad, but it is a really good if you have acnes. It clears spots as fast as in three days.

You can find the rebranded version on ----> YesStyle or on  Amazon.uk
