ON THE LOOK FOR SHAKE SHACK'S JAPAN MICHELIN STAR BURGER

SHAKE SHACK ...

...surprised everyone by creating a limited edition burgers with the Michelin chef. What a collaboration! But, it is not the first time when they used Michelin star chefs. In 2015, it was British chef Sat Bains for a Sherwood Forest burger. In 2014, Massimo Botture was there for a Columbus Day. This year they invited

ZAIYU HASEGAWA

Zaiyu Hasegawa chief for Michelin star restaurants Jimbocho Den in Japan, Tokyo has joined US burger team to celebrate its anniversary.

The Den Shack was available only for one day, featured a 100 % Angus beef with bacon, marinated cucumber, red miso between a potato bun. Sounds delicious, doesn't it? I can only imagine how delicious and mind blowing it was.

Just look at it! I bet it was a 11 out of 10 !

Burger... A fresh juicy burger... What on Earth can be better than moist grilled chicken wrapped in lettuce with a slice of tomato on top?

RIGHT? - NOTHING.

We inspected some burger places, and we have got a lot to say. Especially about the Shake Shack in London.

HONEST BURGERS - TAKE AWAY...

First of all, I discovered (had no clue to be perfectly honest) that Honest Burgers do serve gluten-free chips and bread, which is cool for me because I am allergic to gluten as you know already. I do not eat bread at all. Just because I am afraid of taking even a small bite of that frightening thing. Even if it reads ‘Gluten-free.' But, I did take a tiny little bit, and it was fine!

My order was Honest Cheese Burger with Red Leicester cheese ( I never say ‘No’ to cheese, like who the hell can?!) It was a takeaway. So, after 10 mins on a cold British weather, after 20 minutes on a cosy Metropolitan line, where I spread the scent of cheese, meat and 10 minutes from the station to home (lovely place btw) my burger still was warm. I was happy. You have got no idea. The cold right now in London is SERIOUS :(

So the Burger... Personally, I would prefer to have vegetables instead of gluten free bread. The reason is simple - I am allergic to white sugar, and white sugar is everywhere. I would love to see wrapped it in lettuce or pepper or something else. The beef was good. I am not a huge fan of red meat, but that one was good - a bit salty, enough black pepper; it melted in my mouth. It melted even in my hands. Overall excellent, magnificent. I can not say much about French prize because I never ate it. The chips smelled good I could say by how people were staring at me on the underground!!

SHAKE SHACK - LONDON - EAT IN (THE COLD OUTSIDE)

We definitely wanted to go to Shake Shack just to try and imagine what Zaiyu Hasegawa's burger tasted like. After being confused of where to order cause if you ever went to the Shake Shack in Covent Garden, you know they have 2 places with 4 entries ... and it's crowded! Yes, got in the wrong place in the first time! The burger was yummy, not the best I've ever had, but it was enjoyable, definitely recommend it if you are hungover and in need of a burger! The seating space was limited inside so we had to stay outside (and regretted ordering shakes!)... But let me talk about customer service!

THE BEST!

One of busboys came over and asked about our burgers and was. Us being quite disappointed about not having a real gourmet burger, still thinking about the Sgake Shack in Japan and their amazing burger... we voiced our disappointment.  He felt hurt as if he was the cook and promised us next time we come he shall have a talk with the real cook so we get a proper burger!

WATCH OUT BUSBOY 'CAUSE WE GONNA COME BACK AND MAKE YOU STICK WITH TOUR PROMISE!
